Kiss of the Spider Woman
Supporting
Role as "The Warden"
Dir. Lisa Antonecchia for Arlington Friends of the Drama
It was on a whim that I contacted my old friend Lisa Antonecchia about the musical version of the Spider Woman she was directing. Before I knew it, I found myself in the role of another villain - the merciless Warden - and back on stage for the first time in 8 years. The intensity of this show was matched only by the heart and talent of the people who worked on it. As an actor, you cherish projects like this one where you are constantly challenged by great actors and directors to give your best. I consider myself very lucky to have been a part of this show.

A House Divided
Supporting Role as "Daddy Lyle"
Dir. Mike Amato for Jodom Pictures
Playing a villain is no easy task, and I have literally done years of research on the topic. When it came to Daddy Lyle, I tried to tap into what made bad guys like him so compelling: they truly believe in the evil they are doing. He is a flawed, broken individual, and I thank Mike Amato for letting me run with that role.

Maestro
Bit Part as a "Conductor"
Dir. Doug Stradley for 809 Productions
This quirky little short appeared in a number of festivals across the US, including the 2004 NHFX where I watched my out-of-focus self share screen time with Seth Meyers in a dramatic slow-motion dolly shot, backed by the sounds of The Verve classic, "Bittersweet Symphony." And they spelled my name right in the credits. Bravo, indeed.

Appearing as a "Howard Dean Supporter"
Promo Spot for ABC
This was my first real exposure to a professional, "big budget" production, and I ended up making an actual difference. Not only did I get myself on stage and within view of millions of people watching the football game that followed, but I made a suggestion to the director that he not only happily listened to, but that also made the final cut.
